Remembering Those Who Have Served:

Many of us are proud to have either served in our nation's Armed Forces or have a friend or family member who has helped to defend our country's freedoms.  And now we have the opportunity to memorialize for all time their heroic efforts and faithful service.

The Memorial Monument located at the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington has been designed so that the men and women who have served their country can be remembered alongside one of America's greatest heroes.  An area circling the flag pole and statue located in the center of the Medical Center Parade Ground has been finished with special bricks that will hold a bronze plaque deeply engraved with your name, the name of a family member or friend, or the name of your business which would like to be remembered in this lasting tribute, offering a message of your choice for future generations to read.

  

 

  

 

Helping Today's Veteran's:

In an effort so befitting the "Gentleman General", this project not only pays tribute to our nation's Veterans but also helps to meet the needs of Veterans in treatment at the VA Medical Center in Walla Walla.  The Wainwright Memorial Committee has established a fund which will be used to improve the quality of care and rehabilitation at the Center through the Community Resources Volunteer Services Program.
