The Commander's Welcome

     Over the course of nearly six decades AMVETS members have embraced  the commitment of service set forth by the architects of our fellowship. With these efforts we aim to provide our comrades with the resources and assistance they truly deserve.  Members and supporters of AMVETS participate in a range of projects aimed at improving the quality of life in their neighborhood and beyond. 

     Veterans service and community service represent the driving force we have to make a difference in the lives of others.    The pages of this website offer information on our local post namely Amvets Post #1111 as well as creating a portal to information on Jonathan M. Wainwright and the VA Medical Center.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and learn about the post. We welcome your thoughts and participation in our mission of veterans and support of the community.
